These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Jigar Studio website and your interactions with us as a listener, artist, collaborator, or demo submitter. Jigar Studio is an independent music label based in Andheri West, Mumbai, India, releasing modern Indian music since 2016. By using this website or submitting material to us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Website Use
- This website and its content (including but not limited to text, graphics, artwork, photography, videos, and design) are owned by or licensed to Jigar Studio and protected under Indian copyright law and international treaties.
- You may view, stream, and share content from this site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time without notice.
2. Music, Releases & Catalogue
- All music, masters, and audiovisual content released under the Jigar Studio catalogue are protected by copyright. Rights are owned by Jigar Studio, the featured artists, or licensed from third parties as credited.
- Streaming and download links on this website direct to third-party platforms (e.g. Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube); use of those platforms is subject to their own respective terms of service.
- Unauthorised use, reproduction, sampling, or distribution of any released material without a licence is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
3. Demo Submissions
- By submitting a demo, unreleased track, or any creative material to Jigar Studio via our “Submit Demo” page or otherwise, you confirm that you are the original creator (or have full rights to submit) the material, and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.
- Submitting a demo does not create any obligation on Jigar Studio to review, respond to, sign, release, or compensate you for the submitted material.
- Any decision to proceed with a submission will be subject to a separate, mutually signed agreement outlining rights, royalties, and terms of release. No rights are transferred to Jigar Studio merely by submission.
- We are not liable for any unintentional similarity between submitted demos and material independently created, commissioned, or already in development by Jigar Studio or its artists.
4. Artist & Collaborator Agreements
All formal relationships with artists, producers, songwriters, or other collaborators (including release terms, royalty splits, and rights ownership) are governed exclusively by individual written agreements executed between Jigar Studio and the relevant party. These website Terms do not override or replace any such signed agreement.
5. Studio Services
Where Jigar Studio offers recording, production, or studio services, specific terms (including session bookings, cancellation policy, and payment terms) will be confirmed separately at the time of booking.
6. Intellectual Property
“Jigar Studio”, our logo, and associated branding are trademarks of Jigar Studio. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our name, branding, or trademarks without prior written consent.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to use this website to upload, transmit, or submit any content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that violates the rights of any third party.
8. Limitation of Liability
